Zella Pearl Buckins Roberson, 73, of Hortense, died Sunday, April 20. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, April 23, at the Milan Church of God with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-9:00P.M.
A native of Hazlehurst, Mrs. Roberson was the daughter of the late John and Nettie Hand Buckins. A member of Liberty Baptist Church, she also attended Milan Church of God. She was a seamstress with Uvalda Manufacturing and was later employed with Edenfield at Amercord of Lumber City. Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by a son, Tony Watts, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Roberson, Hortense; children, Frank (Jenell) Watts, Sr., Valdosta, Linda (Buddy) Hutchinson, Sr., Hazlehurst, Shelia (Tim) Adams, Robert (Amy) Roberson, Jr., Lyons, and Samantha (Josh) Garland, Dalton; sister, Lorene Deen, Pittsburgh, PA; special friend, Brenda Reaves; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
