Yvonne Purvis Roberson, 72, of Glenwood, died Monday, March 5. A memorial service will be held at 4:00P.M., Friday, March 9, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae.
A native of Wheeler County, Mrs. Roberson was the daughter of the late Howard and Rosa Manus Purvis. She had retired from J.C. Penney, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Archie Roberson, Glenwood; step-daughter, Sue Cumbo, San Mateo, FL; sister, Ouida Montford, Glenwood; grandchildren, Ivy Michelle Roberson, Amber Nicole Stevens, Samantha Roberson, Kimberly Roberson and Taylor Roberson; and 4 great-grandchildren.
