Wyleen (Towns) Haskins

Wyleen Towns Haskins, 77, of Eatonton, died Thursday, December 28, following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services will be at 2:00P.M. Saturday, December 30, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial at Central Grove Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the funeral service.

A native of McRae, Mrs. Haskins was the daughter of the late Guy C. and Christine Briley Towns.  She was a homemaker and a member of Lake Shore Community Church.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Guynell Kennedy; and a brother, Paul Towns.

Survivors include her husband, Stuart Haskins of Eatonton; children, Stephanie (Jimmy) Touhy of Eatonton, Selena (Lee) Yancey of Gray, and Jason (Lacie) Haskins of Gordon; brothers and sisters, Wyoma (Gene) Johns of Warner Robins, Eloise (Jack) Yawn of Rhine, Jean (Ralph) Horne of Helena, Daniel (Pam) Towns of Hazlehurst and David Towns of Chauncey; grandchild, Colin Haskins; and caretakers, Tracie Shinholster and Angela Hall.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Homestead Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association or American Red Cross.
