Wilson Albert Cartwright, 62, of Midway, died Monday, October 3. Funeral services will be at 11:00A.M., Thursday, October 6, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Macedonia Church Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-9:00P.M.
A native of Telfair County, Mr. Cartwright was the son of Grace Ryals Wheeler and the late Wilson Morris Cartwright. An insurance agent with Life of Georgia, he was in the Army Reserves and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby H. Cartwright of Midway; mother, Grace Wheeler of Midway; sons, Allen Cartwright, Claxton, Alwyn Cartwright, Bonaire, and Mitch Cartwright, Kenton, OH; daughters, Beth Vandiver, Richmond Hill and Nikki Stubbs, Eastman; brothers, Wayne Cartwright, Milan and Mark Cartwright, Midway; and ten grandchildren.
