William Ervin Etling, Jr.

William Ervin Etling, Jr., 67, of Jacksonville, died Thursday, June 13, following an extended illness.  The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.

A native of Elkhart, IN, Mr. Etling was the son of the late William Ervin Etling, Sr., and the late Juanita Sheehan Etling.  Former First Sergeant in the U.S. Army, he was self-employed mechanic and was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Etling.

Survivors include his children, William Ervin (Tanya) Etling, III of Grainger, IN, Jennelle (Frank) Register of Jacksonville and Kristin Etling of Milan; sisters, Linda (Randy) Anderson of Eden and Elaine (Scott) Nunner of Savannah; grandchildren, Dalton Etling, James Register, Stephen Kiltz, Emilee Register and Liam Etling; and three great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
