Wallace David Durden

Wallace David Durden, 73, of Helena, died Wednesday, December 6.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, December 9, at New Bethel Church Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Dodge County, Mr. Durden was the son of the late Ewart and Pauline Polk Durden.  He worked for many years with Roydon Wear and Gilman before retirement.  Mr. Durden was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy McCarter Durden.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal McDaniel of Helena; brothers and sisters, Patricia (Milton) Jones of Eastman Gail (Charles) Price of Montezuma, Gary (Sandy) Durden of McRae, Wilson (Gail) Durden of Cedar Grove and Carolyn (Jack) Brown of Perry; and granddaughters, Kali (Kyle) Clark of Columbia, SC and Anna (John) Webb of Eastman.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
