Virginia Burch (Steverson) Eve
Virginia Steverson Burch Eve, 85, formerly of McRae, died Wednesday, May 16. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00P.M., Saturday, May 19, with the funeral service following at 2:00P.M., in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Blockhouse Cemetery.
A native of Jacksonville, Mrs. Eve was the daughter of the late Walter and Molly Mixon Steverson. She was a Credit Manager for many years with Carver Brothers Building Supply and Pelican Building Supply. Active in the United Methodist Church for all of her life, Mrs. Eve was known for her love of Christ and the church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jack Burch and her son, Kenneth Jackson Burch.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Eve, Aldie, VA; daughters, Debby Shonka, Marietta, and Sibet Freides, Atlanta; brother and sisters, A.J. Steverson, Plant City, FL, Lenora Briley, Smith Station, AL, and Faye Barfield, Phenix City, AL; and grandchildren, Ginger Neumann, Joey Shonka, Sarah Shonka, Amy Shonka, Jackie Freides and Olivia Freides.
