Roger Brett Hartley, 25, of McRae, died Friday, February 24. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, March 2, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in the Telfair Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday, 6:00-8:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Hartley was the son of Roger and Joan Shadix Hartley of McRae. He was a member of McRae First Baptist Church and was a sailor aboard the San Diego based aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Renee Hartley, Jacksonville; parents, Roger and Joan S. Hartley, McRae; grandmother, Sallie Mae Hartley, Vidalia; and sister, Megan Hartley, McRae.
