Ollie Jo (Lowie) Horne

Ollie Jo Horne, 72, of Helena, died Thursday, October 10.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, October 13, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Harrelson Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday, 6:00-9:00P.M.

A native of Telfair County, Mrs. Horne was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Beulah Strozier Lowie.  She worked at Roydon Wear and later, CB&T, and was a member of Community Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bobby W. Horne, Helena; son, William Gregory (Marilyn) Horne, Barnesville; daughters, Jennifer Joyce (Michael) Reith, Woodland Hills, CA and Barbara (Juan) Gonzalez, Buckeye, AZ; sisters, Ethel Strickland, Fayetteville, LeDowski Lowie Jones, Alamo, Ruby Dell Coleman, McRae and Marsha Kitchens, Jasper, TN; and grandchildren, Daniel Juan Gonzalez, Luis Alberto (Kristen) Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez (Jonathan) Craft, Greg Horne and Bobby J. Horne.
