Nicholas, Tinsley and Stetson Coleman

Nicholas Russ Coleman, known fondly as Nick, was born on August 16, 1998, in Vidalia, Georgia.

Tinsley Caroline Coleman was born September 2, 2022, in Douglas, Georgia.

Stetson Russ Coleman was born December 2, 2023, in Douglas, Georgia.

Tragically, they all passed away suddenly on March 27, 2025, in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Nick's radiant spirit and kind personality touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing them.  Both children would light up the room when they entered.

Throughout his life, Nick was widely recognized for his career as a Fiber Optic Lineman, a role that exemplified his commitment to hard work and community service. He was fun-loving and mischievous at heart, characteristics that endeared them to his friends and family. Nick was also a devoted animal lover, often seen with a bright smile amidst his pets and always ready with a kind word for anyone in need.  The children were quickly developing their own sweet personalities, emulating their father's mischievousness and loving nature.

Nick's active involvement in his community was evident through his attendance at Lumber City Baptist Church and Oasis Church, where he found joy and connection with like-minded individuals.

Nick took immense pride in his family, particularly his cherished children. The joy of parenthood was a highlight of his life, and he readily shared his love and admiration for his family with all around him.  It was important to him that he was the best father he could possibly be.  His children were blessed to have two wonderful parents.

He and the children are survived by his wife and the mother of Tinsley and Stetson, Jade Coleman, of Lumber City; Nick's parents and the grandparents of the children, Steven and Melissa Land of Hazlehurst; Nick's brother, Blake Land (Emily) of Hazlehurst; Nicki's mother-in-law and the children's grandmother, Jessica Esquivel of Hazlehurst; Nick's grandparents, and the great-grandparents of Tinsley and Stetson, Kary and Marilyn Poole of Greenville, SC; Marilyn Coleman of Vidalia; Rachel and Steve Land of Hazlehurst; great-grandmother to the children, Cynthia Harrell; a special aunt to Nick, Sonia Coleman (Brad); alongside several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss them dearly.

They were preceded in death by Nick's father, Kendall Shawn Coleman, grandfather to the children, and Nicks grandfather, Kendall Coleman, great-grandfather to Tinsley and Stetson; and grandfather to the children, Jason Smith.

A visitation for Nick, Tinsley and Stetson will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, March 31, 2025, at Vaughn Funeral Home, followed by a joint funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Lumber City.  The family asks that attendees wear bright colors.

Though their time with us was far, far too short, the legacy of kindness, love, and joy that each leaves behind will be forever cherished in the hearts of those they touched.
