Mary Hazel Williams Wilcox, 82, formerly of Jacksonville, died Saturday, May 12. A graveside service will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, May 15, in the Blockhouse Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00 - 8:00P.M.
A native of Jacksonville where she lived most of her life, Mrs. Wilcox was the daughter of the late Joseph and Effie Pearl Williams. Although she was a homemaker for many years, friends and neighbors may also remember her from Roydon Wear, Roper and the J.D. Williams and Son Store.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Wilcox, Knoxville, TN, and David Mark (Cathy) Wilcox, Jacksonville; sister, Runette Broome, Albany; grandchildren, JoBeth (David) Vickers, Jill Wilcox, Jason (Amanda) Tompkins and Misty Tompkins; and great-grandchildren, Eady Jo Wilcox and Luke Tompkins.
