Mary Sue Beasley

Mary Sue Beasley, a cherished member of her community and a dedicated caregiver, left this world on February 17, 2025, in Albany, following an extended illness. Born on November 8, 1937, in the quaint town of McRae, Mary Sue embraced life with a warm heart and a spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A proud graduate of Darton College, Mary Sue thrived in her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where she served as the Swing Bed Coordinator at Camilla Retirement Center. Her commitment to nursing was not merely a job; it was a calling that she answered each day with unwavering compassion and professionalism. Her patients and their families knew her as a trusted caretaker, while her colleagues admired her for her dedication and kindness.

Mary Sue's legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Tiffany) Boone of Leesburg and David Michael Keen of Albany, along with her beloved grandchildren, Elijah Shane (MacKenzie) Keen, Brayden Boone, and Brylee Boone and cherished great-grandchild, Elijah Oliver Keen. The love she imparted will continue to resonate through their lives and the many memories they hold dear.

Though she bid farewell to this life, she is reunited with those who went before her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Dunaway and Cynthia Maloy Dunaway, and her beloved husband, Edward Beasley. Their love undoubtedly paved the way for the nurturing spirit that Mary Sue exemplified throughout her journey.

Mary Sue's presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. In the hearts of her loved ones, she will always be remembered as a beacon of love, strength, and grace.

A graveside funeral service to honor Mary Sue will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, February 22, at Rockwell Baptist Church Cemetery.
