Marlene Davis Jeffries, 68, died Tuesday, May 22. Funeral services will be at 11:00A.M., Friday, May 25, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in the New Red Hill Church Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, 6:00–9:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Milan, Mrs. Jeffries was the daughter of the late Charlie F. and Alice Faye Jones Davis. She was a member of New Red Hill Holiness Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a grandchild, Austin Jeffries; and brothers and sister, Razz Davis, Gordon Davis and Myrtle Horton.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Jeffries, and son, Mitch Jeffries, both of Milan; brother and sisters, Roger Davis, Chauncey, Jenny Bentley, McRae, and Joanne Miller, Monticello; grandson, Drew Jeffries, Milan, and great-granddaughter, Reagan Jeffries, Milan.
