Marie Smith Adams, 65, of Scotland, died Monday, February 10. Funeral services will be private.
A native of Metter, Ms. Adams was the daughter of the late Sam and Louise Dowd Smith. She was the owner and operator of her own beauty shop and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Ms. Adams was the wife of the late Lonnie Lemuel Adams and was preceded in death by daughters, Tina Marie Adams and Jeanne Kay Adams.
Survivors include her son, Lonnie Michael (Brenda) Adams, Scotland; sister, Cathy Smith (Michael) Coe, McRae; grandchildren, LeighAnn Adams, Sean Adams, Kenneth Daniel Allen, Jr., Jacob James Poole and Joshua David Poole; and four great-grandchildren.
