Margaret (Dover) Sheppard

Margaret Dover Sheppard, 76, of McRae, died Wednesday, January 11.  Funeral services will be at 3:00P.M., Friday, January 13, at Faith Baptist Church with burial in the Dodge’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation is Thursday, 6:00-9:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Sheppard was the daughter of the late Jim and Meda Smith Dover.  A homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifford Sheppard, and son, Emory Sheppard.
Survivors include her daughters, Joan (Keith) Stevenson and Trudie (Alvin) Kilpatrick, both of McRae; grandchildren, Becky (Kyle) Wall, Amy Stevenson, Kristie (Nick) Westberry, Bryan (Becki) Kilpatrick, William (Caitlin) Kilpatrick and Jessica Kilpatrick; great-grandchildren, Jacob Outlaw, Emily Outlaw, Macie Westberry, Ansley Kilpatrick, Rylee Westberry and Emeri Westberry and Abby Claire Kilpatrick; brothers and sisters, Bonnie (Osborne) Walker, Rachel (Roy) Henderson, Henry Dover, Elvin (Vivian) Dover, all of McRae; and Mary Etta (Vester) Spires, Abbeville; and great-aunts, Lucy Spires and Lola Mae Wilkes.
