Joseph “Joe” Arthur Daniels, 46, of Milan, died Sunday, May 8. Funeral services will be at 3:00P.M., Wednesday, May 11, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in Rebecca Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00 – 8:00P.M.
A native of Bibb County, Mr. Daniels was the son of William “Bill” Edward Daniels, Sr. and Bernice Strom Daniels, and had lived most of his life in Telfair County. An accomplished carpenter, he had also worked at Wilcox and Pulaski Prisons, and was a member of Rebecca Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents of Milan; son, Ron Daniels, Rhine; brother, William (Kathie) Daniels, Jr., Tallahassee, FL; and sister, Sandi (Z.T.) Padgett, Jacksonville.
