Joann Lowie Selph, 78, of McRae, died Friday. November 28. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, November 29, at McRae First Baptist Church with burial in Telfair Memorial Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
A native of Abbeville, Ms. Selph was the daughter of the late William Oliver Lowie and Mary Josephine Lowie and was the wife of the late Daniel William “D.W.” Selph. She was the secretary at Selph Motor Company for many years, and was a member of McRae First Baptist Church Ms. Selph was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel L. Selph.
Survivors include her children, Larry F. (Deborah M.) Selph, Waverly, and Sandra “Lulu” (Timmy) McNeal, McRae; sister, Edna (Truette) Howard, Helena; grandchildren, Shelley P. (Chris) Nichols, Brunswick and Shannon (Missy) McNeal, Warner Robins; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee Parker and Emmy McNeal.
