Jimmie D. Ophelia Inez (Selph) Marchant

Jimmie D. Marchant, 88, of Milan, died Friday, June 18.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30A.M., Monday, June 21, at Milan Cemetery.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mrs. Marchant was the daughter of the late Dock and Marjorie Evans Selph and was married to the late Arthur Allen Marchant.  She was a retired school teacher at Milan schools and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Inez (Stewart) Douglas, granddaughter, DeNae Douglas, and great-grandson, Maddox, all of Milan.
