Jean (Wilkerson) Burch

Jean Wilkerson Burch, 75, of Milan, died Monday, May 27.  Services will be held at 4:00P.M., Tuesday, May 28, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Milan Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

A native of Dodge County, Ms. Burch had lived most of her life in Telfair County.  She was the daughter of the late John and Helen Barlow Wilkerson and the wife of the late Howell Horace Burch.  Ms. Burch was a retired telephone operator with Southern Bell and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Lisa Holder, and Tina (Lee) Scott, both of Milan; and Tammy (David) Floyd, McRae; sister, Sarah Bohannon, Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Betty (Ernest) Padgett; grandchildren, Lucas Holder, Brooke (Brian) Barlow, Jamie Floyd, Matthew Floyd and Emily Scott; seven great-grandchildren; three nieces; and lifelong friend, Jual Lambert.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 3M Charge (Milan, Mt. Zion and Midway United Methodist Churches), c/o Carol Banks, 127 S. 3rd Ave., McRae, GA 31055.
