Janet L. Stewart of Jacksonville, GA, formally of Elkhart, IN, died at MCCG, Macon, GA, on January 13, 2015, following an extended illness. Janet was born on July 18, 1926, to Elmer and Helen Gantz. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Etling.
Survivors include 3 sons, Jim Stewart, Port Orchard, WA, Tom (Gabe) Stewart, Bristol, IN, and Tim (Amy) Stewart, Belfair, WA; a daughter, Janna (Stephen) Dopson, Jacksonville, GA; nine grandchildren, Aimee Schwartz, Garrod Stewart, Joe Cook and Melanie Edlund of IN, Jennelle (Frank) Register of GA, Kristin (Isaac) Kiltz of TX, Carrie (Chris) Weber of MI, Josh (Carol) Stewart of WA, Steve (Amanda) Hayes of CA; special granddaughter, Amy Williams of GA; sixteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to defer the funeral expense at Vaughn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 398, McRae, GA 31055.
