James E. Graham, Sr.
James Edward Graham, Sr., 86, of McRae, died Sunday, November 14, 2010. Funeral services will be at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, November 17, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Graham was the son of the late Henry W. and Pearl Pullen Graham. A farmer and a former Merchant Marine, he was a member of McRae Presbyterian Church. Mr. Graham was preceded in death byhis wife, Nina Ruth Williams Graham, and sons, James “Jimmy” Graham, Jr. and Henry Stanley Graham.
Survivors include his son, William “Tag” (Gina) Graham of McRae; daughter, Janice Ruth Graham of Helena; sister, Billie Ellis, Summerville, SC; and grandchildren, James Edward Graham, III, Lorrie Bell, Jason Graham, Amanda Thompkins, Jonathan Tucker Graham, Jenny Best, Anna Graham, and Bailie Graham; and great-grandchildren, Makenna Smith, Eddie Bell, Luke Thompkins, Tyler Graham and Matthew Graham.
