Fred Jeffries

Fred Lamar Jeffries, 51, died Monday, April 1.  Visitation will be at 1:00P.M., Thursday, April 4, at Peachtree Baptist Church, Byron, followed by the funeral service at 2:00P.M.  Burial will be in the Erick Cemetery, Alamo.

A native of Warner Robins, Mr. Jeffries was the son of the late Julia "Judy" Ann Peavy Friend and the late James Ross Jeffries, Sr..  He was a U.S.Navy veteran, he was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church.  Mr. Jeffries was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Bustamante.

Survivors include his wife, J.J. Jeffries, and son, Richard Anthony Jeffries, both of Warner Robins; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Jeffries and Karen Wriedt, Warner Robins, Serena Rabideau, Virginia Beach, VA, Brian Bustamante, Centerville, and Gwen Wood, McRae.  Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
