Fannie Laura (Sandefur) Lowie
Fannie Laura Sandefur Lowie, 87, of Pitts, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 19, following a lengthy illness. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00P.M., on Tuesday, September 22, at Vienna Church of God with burial in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Pitts. Visitation is Monday, 6:00 – 8:00P.M., at Vienna Church of God.
A native of Lennox, GA, Ms. Lowie was the daughter of the late Benjamin J. and Mamie Lee Clements Sandefur. She was a medical assistant for many years and was a member of Vienna Church of God. Ms. Lowie was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Darlene Lowie; grandson, William Joseph Hyatt; and brothers, T.J. Sandefur, Charlie Sandefur, Tally Sandefur and Hardy Sandefur.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lee Hornsby, Cocoa, FL and Judith Lowie Hodges, Pitts; brothers and sister, Eugene Sandefur, Homestead, FL, Bill Sandefur, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Lona Bell Redding, Brooksville, FL; thirteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
