Dr. Francis Glynnmore “Glynn” Johnson, 85, of McRae, died Sunday, December 8. Visitation will be held at 1:00P.M., Tuesday, December 10, with the funeral following at 2:00P.M., in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, GA.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Dr. Johnson was the son of the late George Glynnmore and Frances Nell Rawlins Johnson. He was the owner of Family Chiropractic Center and was a member of McRae First Baptist Church. Dr. Johnson was married to the late Mary Seina Heath Johnson.
Survivors include his daughter, Sue (Rodney) Arrington, Douglasville; sons, Heath (Katherine) Johnson, Birmingham, AL and David (Mary) Johnson, Conyers; brother, Emmitt Johnson, Baxley; sisters-in-law, Pearl Powell, McRae and Jewel H. Durrence, Reidsville; and grandchildren, Jessica (Luke) Hughes, Haley Arrington, Kate (Chase) Desormeaux, Wes Johnson and Nicole Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Abbie Kate Desormeaux.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Southern Charm Personal Care Home, 110 S. Third Ave., McRae, GA 31055.
