Dorothy “Dot” Rosalee Liles Ward, 74, died Monday, January 16. Funeral services will be at 11:00A.M., Thursday, January 19, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Telfair Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00P.M.
A native of Alabama, Mrs. Ward was the daughter of the late Albert and Hallie Haskins Liles and the wife of the late Paul Aaron Ward. She was a faithful and lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Wanda (Edward) Johnson of Dublin, Randy Ward of Helena, Carol (Russell) Hart of Chauncey and Julie (Bennett) Howell of McRae; brothers, Albert Liles of Alabama, Charles Liles and Jimmy Liles, both of Florida; sisters, Eveline Whitham of Arizona, Maxine Driggers, Mabel Locke and Margie Freeman, all of Florida; grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Jason Reynolds, Jody Reynolds, Sherri Farmer, Kristi Renew and Rusty Hart; and 10 ½ great-grandchildren.
