Dennis Benjamin Roberson

Dennis Benjamin Roberson, 77, of Jacksonville, died Monday, April 19.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Thursday, April 22, at Roberson Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00P.M.

A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Mr. Roberson was the son of the late Steve and Aileen McLendon Roberson.  A logger for most of his life, he was also a truck driver and was a member of Milan Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Roberson of Jacksonville; children, Laura Spell and Benji (Missy) Roberson, both of Jacksonville, Kim Carver of Broxton, Paul (Michelle) Roberson of Helena and Belinda (Charlie) Dopson of McRae; sisters, Minnie Roberson and Sylvia Bowen, both of Jacksonville; brother, H.J. Roberson of Ellabell; grandchildren, Heather Spell, Kaitlyn Spell, Kailey Spell, D.J. Roberson, Billy (Natalie) Roberson, Jeff Hutchison (Mary Beth May), Lindsey Roberson, Gavin Carver, Greyson Carver, Chelsie Cannon, Chandler Paul Roberson, Ryan Dopson, Jarrett Dopson and Lila Dopson; and great-grandchildren, Arianna Spell, Johnna Roberson, Thomas Lott, Reid Grimes and Harley Hutchison.
