Clarence Cameron Marchant, 83, of Milan, died Friday, December 19. Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, December 21, at Rockwell Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, 6:00-8:00P.M.
A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Marchant was the son of the late Walter and Ruth Williams Marchant. He was US Air Force veteran, a lifelong farmer and was employed with Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Marchant was a member of Rockwell Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, William “Bill” Jackson Marchant, and brother, Roger Marchant.
Survivors include his children, Melinda (Dwight) Williams, Henry Marchant and Ruthie (Terry) Davis, all of Milan; aunt, Macy Callaway, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Dwayne Williams, Mandy Dowdy, Dell Jackson, Joshua Davis, Will Davis, Darla Marchant, Jacob Marchant, Cullen Marchant and Cameron Marchant; and nine great-grandchildren.
