Charles Ivey Watson
Charles Ivey Watson, Sr., 83, of Macon, died Monday, November 23. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, November 28, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cadwell. Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00P.M., at Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae.
A native of Florida, Mr. Watson was the son of the late Joel Ivey Watson and the late Maude Wynne Watson and was married to the late Louise Hulett Watson. He graduated from high school in 1950 and was a retired Teamsters truck driver. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by a son, Terrell Watson, stepson, Leonard Merritt, and a grandson, Jason Spinks.
Survivors include his children, Brenda (James) Spinks of Brooks, Susan Watson of College Park and Charles (Kendra) Watson, Jr. of Hampton; sister and brother, Mary Gussie Brooks and Donald (Lynette) Watson, both of Macon; grandchildren, Corey, Hunter, Justin, and Walker; great grand-children, and nephew, Benjamin.
