Charles Malette Knowles

Charles Malette Knowles, 74, of Milan, died Friday, December 14, following a brief illness.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M., Sunday, December 16, at New Red Hill Holiness Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

A native and lifelong resident of Telfair County, Mr. Knowles was the son of the late Dave and Aldine Spires Knowles.  He had retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company and was a member of New Red Hill Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Louise (James) Fennell, Laverne (Johnny) Cranford, Neva Jane (John Paul) Horton, Floyd (Donna) Knowles, Jr., Don (Jan) Knowles, Johnny Fussell, Mary (Bob) Hodge, David (Elma) Fussell and Benny (Ann) Thomas.  Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
