Bobby Howard Patterson

Bobby Howard Patterson, a beloved member of his community, passed away on April 8, 2025, in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born on June 27, 1940, and lived a life rich in service and dedication.

A proud graduate of McRae-Helena High School, Bobby embarked on a successful career that spanned many years. He worked with Roydon Wear before continuing his journey at Sunbeam and Pollinex Corp. His commitment to his work was evident, and he earned the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Bobby was a member of the Midway Methodist Church, where he found spiritual solace and a community of friends and fellow congregants. His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him in his actions and interactions with others.

He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Patterson of Lumberton, Mississippi, and his brother, Frank Patterson, Jr. of Macon; and dear friends, Hilton and Denise Davis of Waynesboro, MS. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Patterson, and his parents, Pauline Towns Patterson Garrison and Frank K. Patterson, Sr., who shaped the values he carried throughout his life.

In honor of Bobby’s life, a visitation will be held on April 12, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Midway Methodist Church, located on Temperance Road, Milan. Burial will take place at the church cemetery, allowing family and friends the opportunity to gather and share memories of a man who touched so many lives with his kindness and spirit.

Bobby Howard Patterson will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his friends and family, his work, and his faith. His legacy will continue through those who knew and loved him.
