Aloe Boswell, 80, of Camilla, died Wednesday, January 18. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:45P.M., Saturday, January 21, in Telfair Memorial Gardens. In the case of in-climate weather, the service will be held in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
A native of Telfair County, Ms. Boswell was the daughter of the late John Moody Kelly, Sr. and the late Uldene McDuffie Kelly. A homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kenneth Boswell and brother, Johnny Kelly. Of Baptist faith, Ms. Boswell was employed with JC Penney for 16 years, worked with the Albany Herald, and was a preschool teacher with First UMC, Albany.
Survivors include her sons, John Stephen (Jill S.) Boswell, Social Circle, Kenneth Chris (Kelley O.) Boswell, Albany and Jefferson Luiscious Boswell, Leesburg; grandchildren, Blake (Elizabeth Boswell, Atlanta, Katie (David) Branch, Bishop, David Boswell, Camp Lejeune, NC, Justin Boswell, Atlanta, Megan Boswell, Rome and Christopher Boswell, Albany; and two great-grandchildren, Ella Branch and Isabella Boswell.
